Adventure Time is now preparing for Fall 2018 registration. Applications were mailed to all currently enrolled Chabot Elementary school students and incoming kindergartners on Wednesday, April 18.
Applications will be accepted beginning at 7am on Friday, April 27. We will be unable to accept applications before this date. Rather than mailing, please bring your completed application with the $85 application fee to the Adventure Time portable. Due to licensing regulations, space is limited. Registration is based on first come, first serve.
Please call 510-658-7412 x100 if you have questions.
Join us on April 30th from 6-7pm in the Multipurpose Room for this not-to-be-missed event!
M. Sarah Klise will read from her latest book that she co-created with her sister Kate; Stay: A Girl, a Dog, a Bucket List. The event will include a talk and interactive art demo for students in attendance.
It’s a fun way to boost your Read-a-thon minutes, as time spent at Family Reading Night earns double Read-a-thon credits.
Remember to bring your reading log!
You can purchase copies of Stay along with the Klise sisters’ other books that evening (cash or checks only).
Questions? Contact the Read-a-thon team.
Students will bring home Read-a-Thon packets with instructions and materials this Friday, April 20th.
They have two weeks to read as much as they can. Parents, look for an email tomorrow (via 99Pledges), with a link to your student’s online sponsorship page. Share the link via email and social media with family and friends to ask them to sponsor your child.
All proceeds support our amazing enrichment programs.
For budding readers, time spent being read to counts! In addition to classroom prizes (students with most minutes read and most money raised), the classroom with the highest average number of minutes read per student wins a pizza party!
Download extra reading logs or check/cash sponsorship forms here, or pick up extras in the Library.
