Chabot Cares

One of the hallmarks of the Chabot Community is our support of one another, We recognize that from time to time, families may go through hard times and need some additional support. If your family is in need of one time assistance, you can click here to apply for a one time mini grant of up to $200. (Paper copies are also available in the office).

Recess Helpers

This is an ongoing opportunity for parents.

An extra set of eyes and ears on the lower playground during lunch recess is greatly appreciated. Whenever you have an hour to spare now and then, please sign up for a volunteer shift on our SignUp Genius form.

Communications

In addition to this Web site, the following communications tools are available to reach out to the Chabot community:

• Chabot Broadcast email newsletter, distributed every Thursday during the school year.
• Room parents and class e-mail groups
• Backpack flyers distributed in the classrooms

Dad’s Club

The Chabot Dads Club is an inclusive group of parents who like to help with projects, do work around campus, and celebrate festively.

Join our first get-together! Tuesday, Sept. 3, 8pm. Beer Baron (College Ave @ Chabot Road).

There are a few school events where we’ll play a role during the year (Carnival, Auction, and some ongoing clean ups and projects). We’ll be planning meet ups at various Oakland establishments and planning things such as tailgates, game watches, outings, seminars, etc.
