Equitable Enrollment Pilot

Transitional Kindergarten
In the 2023-2024 school year, the Kaiser ECE will host two TK classes — one from Chabot Elementary and one from Peralta Elementary. TK students will attend school at Kaiser throughout the year and at the end of the school year, will matriculate into kindergarten at their respective campuses without needing to reapply.
For enrollment prioritization purposes, these TK classes are treated as if they were physically located at the Chabot and Peralta campuses. This means that a family would have neighborhood priority if they already lived within the established neighborhood boundaries for the respective schools, and sibling priority if a sibling currently attends one of those schools. Children born between September 2nd, 2018 and April 1st, 2019 are eligible for TK.
TK TOUR – There will be a tour for the satellite TK program offered at the Kaiser Early Childhood Center on Saturday, January 21, 9 am – 10:30 am
For more information about Chabot TK, please contact the Kaiser Principal, Alesia Eutsler at alesia.eutsler@ousd.org.
