Mark your calendars for Saturday, November 9-Monday, November 11, for Mrs. Dalloway’s annual school benefit fundraiser.

As always, Mrs. Dalloway’s will donate 17% of all pretax sales made to the Chabot community back to our school. All books, merchandise, and gift certificates apply — even online purchases.

Chabot will also have a shelf of specially selected books which will be donated to other OUSD libraries, so please consider shopping not only for yourself, but for a very good cause!

Remember to turn in your receipts to the librarians’ box in the school office.

Did you know that the Annual Fund Campaign, one of the two biggest fundraisers for Chabot each year is ending soon?

The fundraising that the PTA does through the Annual Fund helps pay for science, library, art, music, small group specialists, and so much more at Chabot.

These programs benefit ALL of our students, but we can’t continue to provide them without the support of our parent community.

Please donate at the level that works for you, and donations of all amounts are appreciated, but $950 is suggested per student.

We need your donation! We are near the end of the campaign and have not met our fundraising goal.

There are several ways to donate.

– Or, if you prefer to make your contribution by check or offline credit card payment, please contact the Annual Fund Co-Chairs Meera Chary, Andy Singer, and Greg Kato at annualfund@chabotelementary.org.

You can set up seven monthly payments to spread out your contribution across the school year, too.

School Tour Dates Announced

Will you have a Kindergarten student for the 20-21 school year; a rising 6th or 9th grader?

OUSD’s enrollment period for the 2020-2021 school year will open November 4, 2019, and closes February 7, 2020.

Chabot will host several tours; most geared towards incoming kindergartners, and a few for upper-grade students.

Tours will start promptly at 8:15 am and last for about an hour.

Tours geared towards Kindergarten age students:

December 12
December 18
January 8
January 14
January 30
February 3

All tours begin at 8:15

Tours geared towards upper grades:

December 4
January 22

A Saturday tour for anyone who is interested:

January 11–This tour will begin at 12:30 pm and start in the library.
