5th Grade Promotion Activities

Congratulations to our 5th grade Bobcats!

We are quickly approaching the end of six crazy years of elementary school and we have lots planned to commemorate this milestone and send our graduates off into the wild world of middle school & tween angst.

Dessert & Memories Night, Upper Yard & MPR

5th graders and their families are invited to kick off graduation week with a potluck style dessert spread including some special treats just for graduates and a slideshow presentation featuring photos of our students.Lots of volunteers are needed to make this a success, please sign up here to help out!  If you prefer to help out monetarily, please Venmo @Traci-Ikegami (last 4 digits 4232) or PayPal ikegami@gmail.com and specify “Dessert Night”.  Thank you!

Promotion Ceremony, MPR

5th graders and their families will enjoy the main event: a promotion ceremony commemorating their promotion to middle school. Coffee and pastries will be served.

Please note: In order to avoid overcrowding, we are asking that you try to limit your guests to 3 per family.  We are trying to secure at home tests for everyone to use prior to this event.  We will be in the MPR with doors open; masks recommended but not required.

Wednesday, May 25, 12-3pm
Potluck After Party, Lake Temescal

5th graders and their families (including extended families!) are welcome to gather at Lake Temescal for a BYOE (that’s bring your own everything) casual celebration.

Plan to go home after the ceremony and change into casual clothes, grab blankets to sit on, food to share, and maybe outdoor toys to share. Enter at the North end of Lake Temescal park and meet in the grassy field at the North end of the lake.

Use this Sign up Genius to let everyone know what you’re bringing for the picnic. Contact Claire Meyler at missclairem@gmail.com with questions.
