We did it! Chabot: Way to Grow! is declaring victory and announcing the completion of Chabot's capital campaign. More than two years ago, the PTA identified four key areas -- the library, media lab, upper yard and garden -- that would need additional funding to complete our campus after construction. Through the incredible generosity of the Chabot community and several local foundations, along with the partnership of OUSD and Cal Fire (who disburse Caldecott Tunnel Fourth Bore mitigation funds), we will be able to achieve all of our goals for the campus. Our thanks to all of the everyone who supported the campaign with their donations and with their time.
Please mark your calendars for a celebration of all of our new facilities on Friday, September 10, from 4 to 6 pm. This is our opportunity to say thank to everyone who has helped Chabot's new buildings become a reality. Join us for tours, refreshments and a chance to celebrate Chabot's amazing transformation. We hope you will join us!
