You Shop, Chabot Earns: It's Easy With Scrip

What is scrip?
“Scrip” means “substitute for currency.” Chabot PTA’s scrip program raises over $10,000 every year for our children's enrichment time: art, gardening, library, music, Spanish, and technology. The best part is that you earn money for Chabot by shopping as you normally do. Our main programs are described below. For help, contact your friendly scrip coordinators:

Gift Cards for All
Before the winter holidays and graduation, we offer gift cards for Amazon.com, Gap/Old Navy, Home Depot, Macy's, Pottery Barn, and other retailers. Chabot earns a percentage of each purchase. Look for order forms in November and April.

E-Scrip
Chabot earns the Lion's share of its scrip revenue through the eScrip program. Simply register your Safeway Club Card, debit, and credit cards, then use those cards as usual. Chabot earns a percentage of your purchases. To sign up, visit www.escrip.com; our ID is 0118422370.

Foodies, Caffeine Fiends
Use store-specific paper scrip when you shop at Berkeley Bowl, Market Hall, or Peet's Coffee and earn Chabot up to 10% on your purchases. Just drop off your paper scrip order and a check made out to Chabot PTA with Margaret by Wednesday of any week and your scrip will be ready to pick up in the office by Friday. Berkeley Bowl and Peet's scrip come in $20 increments, Market Hall in $10 increments.

Fun for Kids
Clip the Box Tops for Education coupons that appear on General Mills cereals (such as Cheerios), Kleenex, and other brand name products. Turn them in to the envelopes by the office and at Adventure Time and Chabot earns! Send questions to Naomi Hatkin: momofjesse96@mail2world.com

New! EcoMetro Guide
The East Bay EcoMetro Guide features hundreds of coupons for local and sustainable products, as well as great tips to encourage members of our community to live, play, and buy local and green. Order forms for the $20 guides will be distributed in October; Chabot earns $10 on every copy sold!

Got an iPhone?
Then recycle your old one through our scrip program—it's the greenest fundraiser we've got. Drop all of your old cell phones and used ink cartridges in the bin outside the office.

SchoolPop Rocks
Shop at over 250 online stores that will send Chabot up to 20% of your purchase price. We're talking Apple, Barnes & Noble, Office Depot, Land's End, and many more. Register at www.schoolpop.com; our ID is
