The Chabot PTA welcomes you! Thanks to a dedicated community of families, school staff and outstanding teachers, Chabot Elementary is one of the best schools in Oakland. You can play an active part in our community by becoming a member of the Chabot PTA today.

Through our active fundraising program, the PTA supports basic classroom needs and field trips and sponsors Chabot’s excellent enrichment programs including art, music, computer science, garden and library. The PTA fosters communication between teachers and families and helps inform parents about education and child development topics. The Chabot PTA also advocates on behalf of our children by working with elected officials, the media, and the State PTA.

PTA Meetings

The Chabot PTA typically meets the second Tuesdayof every month at 7pm in the auditorium. Come early for pizza and socializing at 6:30pm. Childcare is available at 7pm in the library. PTA meetings are open to all, and everyone is welcome!
