Here's a list of the major fundraisers we do each year for Chabot. Think of them as a buffet and choose how you'd like to participate. Check your school handbook and the website Calendar for more details and dates.

FALL MEMBERSHIP AND ENRICHMENT DRIVE
Join the PTA (just $5 per person membership fee) and get active in Chabot. Consider a donation of $270 ($1.50 per day of instruction) to benefit Chabot’s enrichment programs.

SCRIP PROGRAM (Year-round)
An easy, regular way to benefit Chabot at NO COST to you! A percentage of your purchases is donated to Chabot.                                                                       E-Scrip: Register your credit, debit and grocery club cards at www.escrip.com and start supporting Chabot today.                                                                Paper Scrip: Certificates to be used just like cash at Berkeley Bowl and Market Hall. Support local merchants and benefit Chabot at the same time.

SALLY FOSTER GIFT WRAP AND CANDY DRIVE (Fall)
All students will receive a packet and we encourage families to participate, but there's no obligation. Great gift wrap, cards and other holiday items.

FALL CARNIVAL (Halloween)
Our funnest FUN-raiser! A wonderful, community-building event for families and friends with a Halloween theme. Each class organizes a booth, so you'll learn how you can help out. An annual favorite for the whole family.

BOOK FAIR (Fall)
You'll find great books for children and adults on sale in the auditorium. A portion of the proceeds benefits Chabot. Do some holiday gift shopping too!

READATHON (January)
Students get sponsors, keep logs and read as much as they can in 2 weeks. Ready, set, READ!

RAFFLE (March)
We sell raffle tickets around the community and the winner is drawn the night of the big auction.

AUCTION (March)
An adults-only night at the auction. Our biggest fundraiser of the year and a great party! Email info@chabotelementary.org if have anything to donate for the auction. Don't miss it!

T-SHIRTS AND SWEATSHIRTS (Year-round)
Newly designed Chabot T-shirts and sweatshirts are now available in styles and sizes for the whole family! T-shirts come in white and ash. Sweatshirts are all ash. Buy them at Chabot events, by order form in the office (we'll deliver to your child's classroom!) or by email request to sponcelet@earthlink.net

KID'S NIGHT OUT (See the Calendar for dates)                                 Students get pizza and a movie and parents get a night to run free. Organized and supervised by rotating parent volunteers. This is also a great way for working parents to help out and get to know Chabot families.

GRANT WRITING (Year-round)                                                                 Our new team of grant writers is exploring fresh ways for us to fund our enrichment programs. If you have any experience with grant writing, we would love your help!
