The VP of communications at Chabot oversees the many-faceted effort of communicating about school and PTA activities to the members of the community. The Chabot Directory, Website, Newsletter and Broadcast are under this VP’s leadership.

DIRECTORY:
The directory is an invaluable resource. In it you will find students' and parents' contact information. The children's names are cross-referenced by classroom teacher, and photos of Chabot Teachers and Staff, PTA Board and chairs, SSC, PCAD and AT staff are included, as well as Room Parent and PTA Leadership lists with contact info. NEWSLETTER:
Co-sponsored by the SSC, the Chabot Newsletter comes out every other month. In it you will find information about everything going on at the school. Various committee chairs submit reports, Principal Mayer’s monthly report to the PTA is summarized, events are reviewed, and a calendar of the upcoming month's activities is provided. It also contains regular updates from the SSC and its subcommittees and articles from our Student Council. We are always looking for people to write articles for the newsletter! [PTA org chart]

BROADCAST:
This weekly e-mail is sent out to subscribers in the Chabot community and includes both a PTA and a Community section. In it you will find information on everything from adopting pet mice to the date and time of the next committee meetings.
