Every spring the Chabot PTA organizes an auction and gala to raise funds for educational enrichment programs and other PTA activities. This is our biggest fundraiser of the year, and a fun social event made possible by the hard work of dedicated PTA volunteers. The effort encompasses:
- A gala party, typically held on a Saturday evening before Spring Break, with food, drinks and live music
- A Web-based online auction that precedes the gala
- A “silent auction” during the gala featuring a variety of parent-hosted parties, classroom projects and other items for sale
- A live auction featuring premium auction items donated by Chabot families and other supporters
All Chabot families are encouraged to participate – by volunteering to help out with the event, by donating goods or services to the auction, by hosting parties and other events that are among our most successful auction items, or by helping out with classroom projects to be included in the silent auction.
