Congratulations to Mr. Mayer, who has been honored by OUSD with an Educational Leadership Award! The District honors just one elementary school principal in our region (and just three overall) for leadership in creating a “Full Service Community District that serves the whole child, eliminates inequity, and provides each child with an excellent teacher for every day.” The award goes to leaders who helps kids realize their potential and teaches them that they are “caring, competent, and critical thinkers, fully informed, engaged, and contributing citizens, and prepared to succeed in college and career.” We agree — and on behalf of the families at Chabot, thank you!
