When we were kids, our parents could turn off the TV to silence the barrage of commercials. Today, marketers target our children with ads using an array of online techniques that can be difficult to block or limit.
We are pleased to have Campaign for a Commercial Free Childhood executive director Josh Golin visit Chabot to lead a workshop on Tuesday, April 25, from 6:15-7:30 pm in the MPR. He will describe what to look for and what we can do to give our kids the commercial-free time and space they need to thrive.
